How and Why
Grace Mission's Philosophy of Ministry

Have you ever wondered how we will ever reach the world with the gospel at the present rate and cost of sending North Americans to foreign fields? Is God shorthanded when He looks at Christians in other lands? Is there no one available from those lands to do the job?

Paul Romeus in Haiti and Azael Lopez and Ciro Perez in Mexico:

Have a vision for the lost that God has lain on their hearts.
Plan, Organize and carry out the work.
Feel the full responsibility for the ministry success.
Minister the Haitian and Mexican way, with a Biblical basis.
Teach in a relevant way because they understand their culture.
Are accountable (to God and Grace Mission) for the Godly use of finances.
Have a standard of living that fits their culture.

How You Can Help Increase Their Impact

  1. Pray - These men face the daily struggles of religious opposition, government harassment, discouragement, financial stress and divisive forces. Pray that doors of opportunity for the gospel would be open to them.``
  2. Short Term Teams -Your presence on the field brings great encouragement and help. Work teams from North America help in construction and outreaches. They pay their own expenses through churches, relatives, friends and personal finances. They may also raise funds for the project they are involved in.
  3. Church Planting and Sister Churches - Your church could be eternally blessed by taking responsibility for a foreign sister church by: communication with, prayer for, financial support of and team involvement. Or your church or group of churches could invest in planting a new church by using these same methods.
  4. Financial Resources - People in Haiti and Mexico are some of the poorest in the Western Hemisphere. Grace Missions desire is that the national church does all it is able to do on it's own. They are able to help support their pastor, provide workers, building materials or carry water for concrete. This involvement makes their church special because their own hard work made it happen. However, when the average family income per year may only be $400.00 it is difficult to support a pastor and buy the needed supplies for church construction. The following are some ways that Grace Mission gets involved.
General Fund
A gift for where it is most needed.
Building Fund

Pastors Support

Pastors Seminar Training                                                                                                    $666 per quarter brings this training to the pastors.
Leaders Support
Personal support for the Lopez, Perez and Romeus families
Food for the Hungry

Student Support
